The vast majority of people on this planet are dependant on money. Without money, I wouldn't have food to eat, or be wearing this jumper I have on. Without money, the entire world, would be anarchy; least for a while. Just as we can not live without oxygen, neither can most of us live without money. By calling humanity a slave to money, is stating the obvious. Though money is not a bad thing, far from. Its the reality we live in. The reality we conform with. The reality we want to believe in.

Most us use money to buy food. Without food we will suffer eventually die. Every single person I know, has to use some form of money to survive. We have a massive dependance upon it. Even if a person is not money focused/orientated, simply because of that massive dependance all of society has, we are slaves. And without the master, we can't eat. What will happen to humanity, if tommorow, all our money is recognized as just paper, or (even worse) as only number on a computer screen; thus worthless? Anarchy unfortunately. Though as long as we see value in it, we will survive.
